The goal of the academy will be to teach the basic basketball and Football  fundamentals to our area boys and girls (ages 4-14), in order for them to be successful. The staff will be dedicated in providing a safe, fun, wholesome and friendly environment for our youth to develop their skills. Not only will skills be taught but an emphasis will be placed on a positive attitude of good sportsmanship, as well as teamwork.

This is first academy of its kind in the area that is structured for young boys and girls working together. The primary emphasis will be on teaching basic skills and not concerned with wins and losses.

Brian Mclain owner, local businessman, as well as Coach Phil Vergara will team up in order bring this unique concept to fruition. With the help of local businesses such as Academy Sports and Outdoors, Allstate - Bobby Nartin, Drago's - Phillip Drago Jr., The Worthington's owners of Classic Forms and Products, BASF-Joe Arnold & Darren McCutcheon, Jim Hauck & Shane Reddy - Heritage Funeral Home of Mid County and Threads - Chris Street.
